TM2 and Xaseco2 Donation Quick-Start

Here is a small tutorial on how to setup the donation panel of your TM2-Server. We currently do NOT offer support for the donations plugin, it is unstable!
Setting up donations on your Xaseco2-TM2-Server
- Setup your own Server-Account: http://trackmaniaserver.org/wiki/index.php/TM2_Custom_Server-Account
- If you have customized your config.xml, restore the original file
- Start the game and send 50 or 100 Planets to your new Server-Account. That's how it works:
- Hover with your mousepointer to the top of the screen
- Click the envelope
- Enter your custom Server-Login into the To Field
- Enter any subject
- Attach 50 or 100 Planets
- Enter any message
- Send the message
- Now go to the Xaseco2-Tab of your Admin-Panel http://trackmaniaserver.org/administration
- Enable the Donations-Plugin
- If you are using Records-Eyepiece read on below, otherwise restart your complete server (Soft-Restart).
Records-Eyepiece Users
- Go to the Advanced Settings to customize the config files
- Select records_eyepiece.xml
- Search for the <donation_widget> section and set <enabled> to true
- Continue searching for <top_donators> and set <enabled> to true
- Save the config and restart the complete server (Soft-Restart).
Receiving Planets from the Server
When donations were made, you can send the Coppers from the Server-Account to your Player-Account. To do this, the donation plugin must be enabled. Start the game and connect to your server (with your masteradmin TM2-Account). Then open the chat (space) and enter /admin pay LOGIN AMOUNT. Replace LOGIN by your own TM2-Login and AMOUNT by the amount of Planets you want to transfer. Note that the server has to pay a small fee to the game publisher on each transaction. So you might not be able to transfer the complete amount in one chunk.
