Creating / Restoring Backups

Every customer is responsible for creating backups of his server in regular terms. The backup is required to restore the server to the old settings after restarting the system. Please also download the backups to your local harddisk, and keep them.

What's saved in the backup?
The backup contains all tracks, server settings, Guest- and Blacklist, and the record database.
Creating a backup
- Go to the Admin-Panel and select the tab "Backup"
- Klick "Create new backup"
- The backup will start now, and should be done in a few minutes.
Restoring a backup
After a restart it can be useful to restore the latest backup of your server. Visit the Admin-Panel and select the tab "Backup". Now search for the backup you want to restore and click "Restore" on the right hand side. The system will now automatically make your server- and track settings. The record database will not be automatically restored because this is not neccessary. Anyway, if you want to restore the Database, click "Restore" next to the Database-Backup-Filename. The server will be automatically restarted.
Automatic Restore of a backup after restart
This can only be performed, if you have a current backup exactly of this server. Check the BookingID.
