Connect with the free Trackmania version (TMNF-Trackmania Nations Forever)
As a user of the free Trackmania Version (TMNF) you have only restricted access to servers, if they have no FreeZone-Plugin installed. Read on to learn how it nevertheless works.
Solution A) Connect via favourites
- Close the Game
- Open the Admin-Panel an then the Booking Options and click on Connect. You can give the following site to any of your mates.
- Click on Add to Favourites (Please do not use Chrome, because it doesn't work)
- Now the game starts and the server will be in your favourites.
- Choose Online Game and Favourites
- Click on the server and you're connected.
Please note, that free players can only have a few number of servers in their favourites. You can remove favourite servers at the Trackmania-Playerpage. Login in there, choose favourites at the left hand side and X to delete the server.
Solution B) Letting TMNF always connect with the hide server option
- Open the Admin-Panel of your server-
- Choose Booking Options and Advanced Settings
- Activate Hide Server
- Restart the server.
- When the server is back online, go to the Admin Panel again , choose Booking Options and click Connect.
- You can the now shown page to any of your mates.
- Click on Connect and trackmania will connect to the server (Please make you don't use 'Chrome' browser, because it won't work)
Please note, that your server will dissapear from the official serverlist when you activate the hide-server option. The only way for all players to connect is the link (tmtp://#join...).
Solution C) Setting up FreeZone for your server
You can upgrade your server to a FreeZone-Sevrer to grant all players access without having to add it the favourites. For more information please read the FreeZone Guide.
Connect with the payed Trackmania-Version (TMUF - Trackmania United Forever)
As a user of the payed Trackmania United Forever you can join all server without any restrictions. Whether through the link, the serverlist or the favourites.
